Daniel Perez, 34, of Derby, and Alessandra Sillo, 33, of Shelton, were arrested on Friday, Sept. 6, both charged with five counts each of burglary and conspiracy to commit burglary; two counts each of larceny and conspiracy to commit larceny, one count of third-degree larceny and one count of conspiracy to commit third-degree larceny, said the New Canaan Police.

The department released the surveillance video from a burglary on Mariomi Road that showed a dark Ford Mustang convertible with a light-colored top leaving the scene.

During the investigation, the Wilton Police Department provided New Canaan police with suspect information into five burglaries that took place in the northeast section of town during August, said Lt. Jason Ferraro.

Police from New Canaan and Shelton served a search warrant at Sillo’s Shelton home on Friday, Sept. 6, said Ferraro.

During the search, officers located “numerous” items linked to the New Canaan burglaries, as well as other areas, including Norwalk, he added.

Both Perez and Sillo are being held on $150,000 each and were scheduled to be arraigned Monday, Sept. 9.
